“Horses have given me so much – friends, opportunities, challenges, and victories. Teaching lessons means I get to extend that experience to others. It’s one of the most fulfilling things I do.”
Born in Ann Arbor to parents who didn’t know much about horses, Kara spent her childhood playing with toy horses and reading as many books as she could about the horse world.
At the age of nine, she began taking riding lessons, and horses have been a part of her life ever since.
When Kara moved back to Ann Arbor in 2015, she discovered a need for high-quality instruction for beginner horse riders.
“If you’re looking to compete, there’s lots of good options for you throughout Washtenaw County.
But if you’re new to the sport, a good program can be hard to find,” Kara says.
“My goal is to provide safe, educational, and fun experiences for anyone who has an interest in horses. I’m excited to help revive and grow the local horse community.”
